Unreal - the math and the $ numbers - insane. For some reason the ads make me nervous - are we teaching models to give us a real best answer OR to influence our decisions ? And what are we teaching the models by doing this - it’s ok not to tell the truth as long as it benefits “you” … too much human type thinking

The use of 'dead' brains is terrifying. I doubt that the assertion that consciousness is not present, at least minimally, in recently deceased brains has been thoroughly investigated. The horror of consciousness returning after blood infusions and other attempts to keep it healthy and 'working' is too awful to contemplate.... surely other blockbuster novel by Stephen King. In any event a development that will -- and should -- send many to the amend their end-of-life directives and donor protocols. Who know the Singularity would literally bring back the reality of Frankenstein.
It is horrifying that by signing a donor pledge, assuming you may give a kidney or liver to to another person in the unfortunate event that you die prematurely, may result in you regaining consciousness without a body and being subjected to who know what horrors for who knows how long. I may have to reconsider my donor status until we get some carve outs at minimum.
