Right now workers(consumers) are being displaced by technology. The cost of production is falling and will likely in the relative short term approach near zero. This should spell the collapse of capitol based economies. And I don’t think it is possible to prevent these trends because of the nature of capital and f.o.m.o. in large organizations and nation states. So as these trends hit us full force, maybe as soon as 2030, what is the point of trade in capitol? I am sure Peter Diamandus would suggest that the new technological future should bring abundance for all. Yet I’ve heard some people who, unable to imagine any other methodology, insist that capitol exchange is the only way to manage resource distribution. It seems to me from a global perspective, particularly the experience of the southern hemisphere, capitol exchange has never been equitable or effective. So why continue to develop in this direction by creating a new Price Index? This seems like an exercise in gate keeping rather than fair use and generally unwise unless you are fortunate enough to be a billionaire happy to exclude oneself and work towards a terrible fate for the rest of civilization.
Interesting. Outside Bloomberg, where can we see the index?
High index = AI compute is expensive and in demand. Low index = AI compute is cheaper and easier to get.
Great information. Thanks.
You’re welcome!
Another amazing and necessary venture Alex, thank you. So glad you are laying the cornerstones for the future of abundance we know is possible.

I am dreaming of personalized and project-based- learning school. An adaptive AI-tutor would play a key part.
It must be possible to create a AI-based tutor for children aged 3-18 years. The role of the „teacher“ would completely change.
Das anybody know where to start to build such a tutor. Is there a company working on this which I could contact?
We need to completely disrupt the outdated education sector.
Can I invest in this? What like to be early.
Compute is the driver behind all of this. Nice to know that we can now quantify it's value with real metrics. Let the good times roll...
Nice I’m number one
